There is zero cost to sign up to dazzly and build a website. This means you can test various designs, colors, text and other features without having to pay a cent. You only need to sign-up to our monthly or annual plan once you wish to connect a custom domain to your dazzly website. For example, when you first create your website, your website URL may be:

But once you have made changes to the website and are satisfied that it is good to go, you will want to buy a new custom domain (or connect an existing custom domain) to that website, so your new website will be accessible via (example):

The monthly website hosting cost for dazzly websites is free while you are building your website and using the dazzly preview URL (e.g. https://mywebsite.dazzly.site) but once you have built your website and wish to connect it to a .co.nz or .com domain it requires joining our paid membership. You can register your .co.nz or .com domain and it will automatically connect to your dazzly website! We think this a very modest fee and an excellent deal for all business owners.

In-order to change the Map Image on your website you need to change the position of the Map Latitude and Map Longitude values on your website back-end. This is simple but it takes a few extra steps compared to making other changes – we’re sure you’ll be OK. Please do the following:

Visit https://maps.google.com
Type in the Address (where you want your Map Location to be on your website) into the ‘Address Bar’ (e.g: 1250 Dominion Road, Mount Roskill, Auckland)
Note that Google Maps will now display a Map Marker on that location on the map
Right click on the Map Marker position
Click ‘What’s Here’
Note that the co-ordinates (Latitude and Longitude) will now appear at the bottom of the screen.
Click the co-ordinates (underlined in red)
You can now see the co-ordinates larger on the left-hand-side of your screen:

While no-one can guarantee that any computer (or any thing at all) hosted on the internet is 100% secure, we have taken many precautions and considered computer security issues at every stage in the development of dazzly websites. We think we have your bases covered.

Consider a competing solution such as Wordpress CMS that involves third-party written plugins with irregular updates – this model is worlds apart from a security stand-point – it is outdated and arguably outright dangerous for you to use for your business website.

All dazzly websites come with an SSL certificate which encrypts your website traffic from those that would monitor your network connection in an attempt to ‘sniff’ your website traffic/data.

To update the Stock settings for your product variation, please do the following:

Go to the URL https://app.dazzly.co.nz
Login using your Username (email address) and Password
Click on ‘Edit Website’ (or ‘Website‘)
Click on 'Products'
Find the Product you want and click 'Update'
Make sure 'Stock Tracking Is On'
Scroll down to the 'Product combinations' section
Click the yellow pencil icon to update the item
Enter a number in the input field for the Stock count
Click 'Save'
Scroll down to the bottom and click 'Save changes' to save the Product
Publish your changes

My Website Preview Isn't Working

So you've entered the Required Fields and you've gone to view your website - but something has gone wrong - and there is either no preview available, or the preview that you are seeing seems "old" and not reflecting the latest information you've entered?

Don't panic. There are many causes for this and all of the fixes are very simple.

If you are seeing no preview website at all, or a preview website containing our AI generated text but not the changes that you've made, this simply means that you have not yet clicked the green button Publish Preview within Dazzly (https://app.dazzly.co.nz). Please log back in, go to the Website menu, click 'Publish Preview' and then wait for the loading bar to complete, then you can view your website by clicking the yellow button 'View Preview' on the left hand side.

However, if you can already see the 'View Website' (yellow button) but the website isn't displaying correctly, or is showing old information, the next thing you can do is follows:

Refresh the Website Preview page
On https://yourpreviewwebsite.dazzlysite.co.nz - you can press the F5 key to refresh the page.
Hard-Refresh the Website Preview page:
Hold CTRL and press the F5 key to do a 'hard refresh' - forced refresh to see the latest changes.
Re-save your website changes
You may have forgotten to click the blue 'Save Changes' on the part of the website you were changing, please double check this and even refer to the Website Log to check as well if unsure.
Re-publish your website
You may have forgotten to click the 'Publish Preview' (green button) please click this and let the website preview publish then click the yellow 'View Website' button the left-hand side of the screen.

If you have tried all of the above and your website is still not working, you can clear your internet history by pressing the CTRL+SHIFT+DEL keys in Google Chrome (please note that you may have to re-login to Dazzly and other website logins if you do this) but it also clears out your entire internet history so it can load a fresh copy of your preview website the next time you click 'View Preview'.

How Do I Change My Website Template?

Changing your website template in Dazzly is easy.

You can access the 'Change Template' button from within the Dashboard or Website menus.

Under Dashboard, there is a link that says 'Change Template' - simply click this and you will be shown a visual menu of the available website templates that you can switch to.

Under Website, there is a blue button that says 'Change Template' - simply click this and you will be presented with the same menu.

Click on the image of the template you wish to change to and then hit the blue button in the bottom-right hand corner.

Dazzly even provides a preview of how your current website content will look on the new template you're considering.

Please allow a moment or two for processing and then you should be able to edit your new website template (and publish it) from within the website menu.

If you are seeing an error similar to below:

The very first payment from a successful Ecommerce order typically takes 3-5 business days to arrive.

All subsequent payments from sales should arrive in around 1-2 business days.
